Set up your character in a setting. Your character must make a decision. Write an 8 word sentence. Write a 20 word sentence (a long one) continuing to describe where your character is and the mood. End the paragraph with a 3 word sentence that describes how they feel--or that change is coming--

Paragraph 2:  Begin with a 3 word sentence. Write 2 to 3 more sentences of your character remembering their life before the upcoming change. For the last sentence write: "Life changes."


Paragraph 3: Write a paragraph that describes the change or the decision they are going to make. Try to put some dialogue in--imagined or remembered--to create a little scene. You can also repeat your "theme" word--and you can show them "weighing" the decision by examining the pros and cons. IMPORTANT- how they FEEL--

Paragraph 4:  SENTENCE 1: Begin with something like: "He/she/was about to live a different life.                                SENTENCE 2: describe the character feeling something strong--                                                                             SENTENCE 3: Describe some weather outside that the character can hear/sense
